The CCDI recognizes that Cameroon’s strategic location as a gateway to Central Africa provides significant opportunities in logistics and cargo handling. As part of its intervention, the CCDI will help develop freight and cargo services, supporting trade and improving the efficiency of supply chains across the country.
Objectives:
- Develop air and sea freight forwarding services that facilitate the movement of goods within and outside of Cameroon, promoting international trade.
- Introduce logistics software solutions to streamline cargo handling, customs clearance, and storage services at key ports and airports.
- Collaborate with the government to establish logistics hubs and cargo centers, enhancing Cameroon’s status as a regional trade hub.
- Support the development of rail and road freight networks, ensuring that goods can be moved efficiently across the country and the region.
